Guizhou Guotai Group, a core subsidiary of Guizhou Guotai Group, owns five major production bases: Guotai Liquor, Guotai Manor, Guotai Jude, Guotai Maoyuan, and Guotai Juzhi. The company produces 56,000 tons of high-end liquor annually, stores over 90,000 tons of aged base liquor, and pays more than 10 billion yuan in annual taxes. With the explosive growth in market demand for sauce-flavored liquor, Guotai Group urgently needs to enhance its steam supply capacity to meet the needs of increased production, while ensuring that energy equipment is highly compatible with brewing processes.
The existing steam system at Guotai Group was unable to meet the energy requirements of new processes such as distillation, sterilization, and cellar temperature control after the expansion. The supply capacity of the conventional 20-ton boilers was insufficient for the scaled-up production. Additionally, liquor brewing requires stable, constant-pressure steam, and the energy efficiency and environmental emission standards are extremely stringent.
To meet these needs, the technical team from ZOZEN Boilers conducted in-depth research on the production flow and energy usage patterns at Guotai Group. They provided a tailored solution with the 25-ton WNS series gas steam boiler, achieving both technical adaptation and energy efficiency upgrades. The solution includes an intelligent combustion system, which matches the cyclical steam demand of sauce-flavored liquor brewing, stabilizes steam pressure fluctuations, and ensures the provision of high-quality, stable steam for the client.
