Project Background

The client is a large garment factory located in Eswatini, Africa, facing the challenges of energy transformation. With increasingly stringent environmental regulations, the factory’s original coal-fired boiler system could no longer meet the growing emission standards. As a result, the factory decided to upgrade its boiler system and replace the coal-fired boilers with more environmentally friendly oil-fired systems, ensuring the production process meets global environmental requirements and promotes sustainable development for the business.

Project Requirements

The client’s primary requirement was to ensure a stable steam supply in a high-altitude environment. Since Eswatini is located at high altitudes, the performance of the boiler may be affected by low oxygen levels and lower atmospheric pressure. Therefore, the client specifically requested a boiler system that could reliably output 2 tons of steam. Additionally, the boiler needed to be compatible with diesel and kerosene fuels to align with the local energy supply, while also achieving both environmental and energy-saving goals.

Solution

To meet the client’s special needs, ZOZEN Boiler customized a 3-ton WNS series oil-fired steam boiler. The boiler was carefully designed to reliably output 2 tons of steam, specially adapted to the low atmospheric pressure environment of high-altitude regions, ensuring efficient and stable steam supply. The WNS series oil-fired boiler utilizes advanced condensing technology, improving combustion efficiency and fully utilizing fuel energy to reduce energy waste. Furthermore, the boiler supports both diesel and kerosene as fuel sources, perfectly aligning with Eswatini’s local energy supply while effectively reducing harmful emissions such as NOx, ensuring the factory meets stringent environmental standards.

Execution Process

To ensure the smooth implementation of the project, ZOZEN Boiler dispatched a professional engineering team to Eswatini, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and operation testing of the boiler system. The team overcame the common challenges of low oxygen levels and harsh weather conditions in high-altitude areas. With their extensive experience and technical expertise, they ensured the successful commissioning and efficient operation of the boiler system. After multiple rounds of careful testing, the boiler’s stability and performance were fully verified, meeting all the production needs of the factory.

Project Results

The upgrade of the boiler system successfully achieved high energy efficiency and significant reductions in emissions. The newly installed WNS series oil-fired steam boiler not only improved the garment factory’s production efficiency but also greatly reduced environmental pollution, making the production process cleaner and more environmentally friendly. The successful implementation of this project has also provided strong support for the sustainable development of local industries and contributed to the green development of Eswatini.
