Zhongzheng has completed the shipment of three customized SZS series gas steam boilers to the port of Uyuni in Bolivia in mid-January this year. The SZS series gas-fired steam boilers arrived at the project site and entered the installation period. The Zhongzheng SZS series gas-fired steam boiler project is located in the Uyuni Salt Lake, the world’s largest salt marsh with the largest lithium reserves.
When designing the boiler system plan, Zhongzheng took into full consideration the effects of altitude and atmospheric pressure on the gas steam boiler. On the one hand, the combustion rate of the fuel slows down due to the decrease in atmospheric pressure. CJC designers appropriately increased the furnace chamber volume and convective heating surface area to ensure heat transfer. On the other hand, the air volume and pressure are modified in the selection of the burner so that the boiler output and the thermal efficiency of the whole boiler system can be guaranteed.
To ensure the excellent quality of custom gas steam boilers, all processes are carried out according to the process design and require strict quality testing. A boiler has to pass at least 7 acceptance tests such as flaw detection and hydraulic test before leaving the factory in order to find any minor defects and flaws.
Under strict quality control, Zhongzheng pays attention to details and maintains a rigorous approach to the selection of boiler covers. Due to the strong corrosiveness of Bolivian saline land, customers have strict requirements on the adhesion, weathering resistance, paint thickness and color of boiler cover plate. Zhongzheng put the customer’s requirements in the first place and shot blasted the cover plate. Zhongzheng chose seawater corrosion resistant primer and painted according to the color number and thickness provided by the customer. The boiler system was strictly customized to meet the customer’s requirements, and not only met the requirements, but was also approved by the contractor and the end customer.
